Trick or Treat Night is already upon us and all the kids
are anxuously waiting to go from house to house in
their cute or scary costumes. They are ready for all
of the treats they will receive. Here are a few helpful
tips for parents to make it a safe one:
1. Feed your kids before they go out so they won't
be starving and want to eat the candy while you
are walking.
2. Children should be accompanied by a parent. If
older kids go out they should take a cell phone
in case of an emergency.
3. Make sure the children can't trip on their costumes.
4. Wear bright colored costumes or reflelctive clothing.
5. Parents or kids should carry a flashlight or a lit
device.
6. Stay in groups and cross in crosswalks not in between
cars.
7. VERY IMPORTANT- INSPECT all candy before eating
