Memorial Day Traditons

Happy Memorial Day!!!

Just like any other holiday there are traditions you can start with your family and friends on Memorial Day! Whether it is having a cookout with some friends and family, wearing patriotic accessories, tee-shirts, or visiting the cemetery to remember your family and friends.

Looking for Some Traditions to Start this Memorial Day and for Years to Come?! Here are a few ideas!

1. Host a cookout with family and friends. Some menu ideas include, hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, potato chips, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, oreo cake, ice cream, strawberry cake, and peach pie.

2. Go to the pool! Take the kids or take a good book, soak in the sun and the relaxing sound of the pool water!

3.  Display the American Flag on your Porch or on your garden flag stand.

4. Go to a Memorial Day Parade

5. Visit the cemetery of family and friends and place flowers on their graves.

6. Visit local veteran homes or hospitals- visiting veterans would make their day!

7. Look through scrapbooks, and photos of family and friends.
