This year's Columbus CureSearch Walk for Children's Cancer is being held
on September 28th at the Water's Edge Events Park in Powell, Ohio. It's also
Columbus Family Day At The Zoo and Aquarium. The schedule of events
are as follows:
Zoo and Aquarium opens at: 10:00 AM
Kid's Activities at Water's Edge Events Park: 2:30PM
Bob Evans Meal: 4:00 PM
Opening Ceremony and Walk: 5:00 PM
Included in the Registration Fee:
($10 for age 16 and up, free for age
15 years and younger)
Complimentary Admission & Parking at the
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
(if you have a Zoo Membership Card, please
bring it)
The CureSearch honors children who have had
cancer in Columbus and surrounding areas and
also raises money for cancer research.

DELICIOUS PUMPKIN SPICE BREAD
Sit, relax, have a hot cup of coffee with this Pumpkin Spice Bread. This bread is so moist and delicious!
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. Bake: 1 hour plus cooling
MAKES: 32 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
3 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin
3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 cup water
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin
and mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon,
nutmeg, baking powder, cloves and allspice; add to the pumpkin
mixture alternately with water, beating well after each addition.
2. Pour into two greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for
60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes
out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack
to cool completely. YIELD: 2 loaves.
NUTRITIONAL FACTS
1 serving(1 slice) equals 197 calories, 8 g fat ( 1 g saturated fat), 27 mg cholesterol,
128 mg sodium, 30 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.
