HAWAIIAN KIELBASA

This appetizer is a crowd pleaser, which would be great for Superbowl Sunday.
It is quick, easy and you make it in a slow cooker. You can be doing other things
to get ready for your party all while smelling the wonderful aroma.

INGREDIENTS:
3 lbs. Kielbasa, sliced into 2 - inch chunks
15 - 1/4 oz. can of crushed pineapple
18 oz. bottle barbecue sauce
1 T ground ginger
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder

Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Mix well.
Cover and cook on low about 2 hours, until warmed
through, or on high setting for 30 minutes.
Makes 10 to 15 servings

RECIPE FOR A YUMMY ARTICHOKE DIP

A tasty artichoke dip for the Superbowl Game will be the hit of the party. Have different types of
crackers and tortilla chips and your ready to serve it.

INGREDIENTS:
1(6.5 ounce) jar of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
1 C mayonnaise
1 1/2 C grated Parmesan cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chile peppers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a medium bowl mix the artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, 1 C Parmesan cheese,
cream cheese and green chile peppers. Scoop the mixture into a pie pan or
medium baking pan. Top with 1/2 C Parmesan cheese. Bake 25 minutes or
until bubbly and slightly browned. Serve warm.

HINT: If you want it nice and golden you can broil it the last 5 minutes of the
        baking time.
