Cute Easter Craft For Kids

                                                 PLAYDOUGH BUNNY FAVORS


NOTE: You can purchase all of these supplies at the dollar store

SUPPLIES

1. mini playdough jar

2. plastic eggs with bunny faces

3. scrapbook paper

4. cupcake liners

5.  white pompoms

6.  glue gun or white school glue


STEP 1
Cover playdough jar with scrapbook paper 

STEP 2
Cover top of the jar with cupcake liner and glue

STEP 3
Glue on a pom pom for bunny tail

STEP 4
Glue Easter bunny eggs to top the jar

EASTER DESSERT

                                                 LIGHT FLUFFY LEMON CAKE

                                                 1 package lemon cake mix Supreme without pudding

                                                 1 package instant lemon pudding
                                                   
                                                 1 Cup milk

                                                 8 oz. cool whip (not fat free)


                                                 Bake cake as directed and cool. Make sure it is completely cool.
                                                 Beat 1 package of lemon pudding and 1 Cup milk. Beat well then
                                                 add 8 oz. cool whip and continue to beat several minutes. Ice when
                                                 the cake is cool.

A CUTE AND COLORFUL EASTER CENTERPIECE

                                                PEEPS AND JELLY BEAN CENTERPIECE

                                                 
What you need:

·         1 wide mouthed, round bottom, tall vase

·         1-2 bags of jelly beans

·         2 packages of peeps (2 different colors)

·         Easter grass

·         Artificial flowers
  •    A pretty ribbon                                                                                            
Take a wide mouthed, rounded bottom and tall vase and fill the bottom with jelly beans. On top of the jelly beans take a package of pink peeps and put them all around the vase facing out and repeat with another layer of peeps of another color. Then add Easter grass and top with a bunch of artificial flowers. Put a pretty ribbon around the vase and tie into a bow.

A HEALTHY AND TASTY SIDE DISH

                        Lemon-Ginger String Beans


                        1 pointsplus value per serving-prep:12 min-cook:6 min-serves: 4


                         2 tsp olive oil
                         2 medium garlic cloves, minced
                         1Tbsp minced fresh ginger root
                         3 cups string beans ( fresh or frozen and thawed)
                         2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
                         2 tsp. finely grated lemon zest, or to taste                   
                         1/8 tsp. table salt, or to taste
                         1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, or to taste



                         Heat oil in a large skillet over medium or medium-low heat. Add garlic
                         and ginger and cook,stirring, 1 minute.

                         Add string beans and cook until golden brown,stirring occasionally,
                         about 2 minutes.

                         Add lemon juice and zest; cover and steam until string beans
                         are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.  Season to taste with salt and
                         pepper. Yields about 3/4 cup per serving.

                         Note: You'll need 1 medium lemon to yield the 2 tablespoons of  lemon juice
                         and 2 teaspoons of zest. This dish also works well with snap peas and snow peas.
